If your campus has Residential Mandatory Meal Plans, they expire on the last day of the academic year. The Flex dollars that come with these meal plans roll over from Fall semester to Spring semester but expire at the end of the Spring semester. Voluntary Meal Plans andDining Dollars carry over from year to yearas long as you are active on a University of Maine Campus.
When purchasing a voluntary meal plan or Dining Dollarsfunds will be loaded within 24 hours of purchase. Meal plans for campuses with resident students are active on the first day of classes for most students. (If you are on campus early for athletics or other commitments, you can ask your activity leader or reach out to Kera.Snyder@sodexo.com.)
Meal plans are only refundable in the semester they were purchased.  If you are having trouble spending your available balance please reach out to dining services to assist you with suggestions around maximizing your meal plan use.
Yes! Any meals associated with a meal plan can be used on any of the seven campuses in the University of Maine System.
Yes! We encourage staff and faculty to enjoy the cost savings and convenience of a meal plan. Ask about our Try Before You Buy program for a free meal inour dining facility. You may purchase a block of meals with a voluntary plan or add Flex Dollars to your card to use at the Cafe and when ordering on our dining app, "everyday"
All Sodexo dining locations accept Flex cash and Dining Dollars. Your meal swipes included in your meal plan are redeemable for meals at our campus or any campus in the University of Maine System.

Yes! the "everyday" app is available and has features and functionalities designed to make mobile dining easy, safe and convenient. View menu's and nutritional information, filter by dietary need or preferences, use your meal plan/credit/debit card to purchase and then pick up your order and enjoy.  https://everyday.sodexo.com/

Communication is the key to addressing food allergies and dietary needs. Prior to or immediately upon arrival to campus, please inform our General Manager, Kera Snyder (Kera.Snyder@sodexo.com) so he can advise you on how to navigate the Cafe safely. We also have a Dietitian (Chelsea.Champagne@sodexo.com) available, who provides individual consultations and can create a dining plan that works for you.
